One afternoon at a local agricultural show, viewing some young stock, I noticed a beautiful, lively liver chestnut Arab colt, ready to enter the show ring. He was rather fractious and his handler was trying to calm him down, but he was quite a handful and continued to prance about. When he entered the ring though he seemed to calm down and behaved impeccably, as if to say " aren't I wonderful" and I thought he was, so I painted him!
