Jill York - Artist

I was exhibiting my artwork at a point to point race meeting in Leicestershire and took quite a few photos of the competitors. Some beautiful horses and exciting racing, certainly worth a painting I thought. It was an all round good day! So I did two portraits and at the next meet that I attended, I sold one to the owner of the horse, who gave it to her granddaughter, the jockey on the race day.
The young lady thought it was a wonderful gift, which was great to know that I had made someone's day!
