This work was inspired by my love for Runner Ducks, their beautiful colours, lithe athletic shape and quirky personality appealed to me. Whether they actually run I am not sure, as I have only ever seen them when they are stationary. I do believe some people dress them up in many different costumes, often ready to race. Great fun!
The three ducks I have painted look as though they are gossiping, but what are they talking about? I would love to know! I hope that this painting will appeal to people of all ages.
